Our house is situated in a small and very quiet village very near (13km) the nice old town, Rouen.
2026 is the NORMANDY IMPRESSIONIST FESTIVAL ( https://en.normandie-tourisme.fr/highlight/normandy-impressionist-festival/)
We live in a regional nature reserve " the Seine Valley" with a big forest http://www.pnr-seine-normande.com/
It's very convenient to go hiking or to cycle with the beautiful view of the Seine. (GR 2)
We live in our house 20 years ago. It's very confortable. It's decorated with modern and old furnitures.
There are a veranda and another terrace. You can make the most of the big garden.

(GR 2) and we 're very near from Rouen's the capital of Normandy.. There are lot of museums, cathedrals and olds streets. There is a good rouen 's video on http://www.rouentourisme.com/ We are near to the sea " Dieppe"( http://www.dieppetourisme.com/) or " Etretat" (http://www.etretat.net/office-de-tourisme-etretat/modules/content/content.php?page=accueil ).
You can go to Paris by direct train Rouen-Paris (Saint Lazare station 1 h 15) or by car ( 145 Km ).
You can go at the same time to the sea coast, to Paris and Giverny.

Wir hatten das Glück, mit sehr erfahrenen Intervac-Migliedern zu tauschen. Sie haben sehr professionell Informationen bereitgestellt, das Haus ausführlich beschrieben und fotografiert. Wir konnten uns ein gutes Bild davon machen, was uns erwartet. Überaus nett war auch, dass sie uns zwei (!) gefüllte Kühlschränke bereitgestell haben, etwas was wir selbst nicht gemacht haben, und weswegen wir ein bisschen ein schlechtes Gewissen hatten.

Nous avons pu profiter d'un magnifique échange dans une belle maison de campagne proche de Rouen. La région était très belle au coeur du parc naturel des boucles de la Seine. Nous avons été très bien accueillis dans cette maison très propre et lumineuse. Le jardin de la maison est sublime. Merci encore à la famille Dessaint pour ce bel échange et vos précieux conseils pour les visites.
Het contact met de familie DESAINT verliep heel vlot en correct. Hun huis in HENOUVILLE is een prachtige uitvalbasis om de hele mooie streek te verkennen. Het huis is ruim, verzorgd en correct zoals besproken. Wij hebben ons huis ook heel netjes terug gekregen. Een hele fijn ruilervaring die we aan iedereen willen aanraden.
