Large flat in Dundee, Scotland, Great Britain

I am a retired teacher with two adult children and three grandchildren. I have a wide range of interests which include walking, reading, listening to music, fishing and photography.

In the past few years I have worked hard to learn French - with mixed results - but I persist!

As I am retired, I am available for house swaps throughout the year and for extended periods of time by negotiation.

At this point in time I am keen to spend as much time as I can in London where I have family as well as France where I have good friends.

My flat is on the second floor of a beautifully converted historic jute mill with stair and elevator access. The flat has no internal steps. There is a large lounge with seating, study and library areas. I have an extensive DVD collection and subscriptions to numerous TV services offering a wide range of movies, music and TV programmes. I also have a premium account with Apple Music which makes virtually all the music in the word available free of charge.

While there is no terrace, there are several public parks within easy walking distance.

I live to the north of the centre of Dundee. There are numerous bus services to the centre of Dundee which is a 30 minute walk. Dundee has a small airport, railway and bus stations and is an easy drive from the scenic Fife coast, the Highlands, Edinburgh as well as Central Scotland.

Single man
