House in Zuid-Beijerland, Netherlands
Dear Fellow Home Exchanger,
Would you like to spend your summer holidays in Holland ?
We live in a nice and quit village Zuid-Beijerland just south of the city of Rotterdam. ( 20 min. by car )
About us: We are a family consisting of 3 people: Jan (57), Marijke (58), Jakko (25)
We have previously been on 8 exchanges by Intervac and 2 by another organisation.
About our house: We have a two story house with 2 bedrooms upstairs. One bedroom has two single beds and one has a single bed. At the first floor is also a bathroom. On the ground floor, you'll find a nice living room with TV. There is also the kitchen with all conveniences, a laundry with a washing machine, a dryer and a freezer.
About the garden: We have a lovely, private garden facing south, a lawn with terrace
About the surroundings:
We live just 2 km from the Haringvliet river. You can swim there as well as sailing or surfing. In the middle is the isle of Tiengemeten which is a national reserve. It can be visited by ferry. There are several small bike ferries in the area.
We live in the Dutch water delta area with many bridges, dikes and other waterworks.
5km from our house you’ll find a river beach. From the house to the highway A 29 is just 4km.
If you want to visit other parts of the Netherlands or Belgium as well, it is really good accessible from our home.
You are, for example, in 30 minutes on the north sea beach, or in cities like Rotterdam, Delft and Dordrecht. Rotterdam has a beautiful zoo and boat trips through the largest harbour of Europe.
We live 45 minutes from the Hague, Leiden, Gouda, Breda and Utrecht and a one hour drive to Amsterdam or Antwerp (Belgium).

Grande maison très bien équipée au cœur d'une petite ville. Rotterdam et Amsterdam sont très faciles d'accès. De nombreuses balades à vélo à proximité.
