Large Charming House with Sea View at Beautiful Lidingö/Stockholm, Sweden
We are generally open for an exchange all year around! Long and short. Any request would be interesting for us.
We love the idea of Intervac and are looking forward to many happy experiences! We have already made 21 exchanges giving the family a lot of good memories.
This is a very charming large house with all equipment of high standard including kitchen and all bathrooms. The house is 280 square meters (3200 square feet) plus the cellar. The house was build 1911 and has been carefully remodelled the last five years. There are four permanent bed rooms, two of these with double beds.The kitchen is brand new fron 2926 with all modern appliances.
There is a very nice view over the water from the house and a nice garden. You are able to see the view from the bedroom among the photos on this page.
Stockholm is known to be one of the most beautiful capitals of the world. Average temperature of the summer is 20-25 degrees Celsius (70-75 degrees Fahrenheit).
As shown on the map below Lidingö is a very green Island surrounded by water even though it is just 15 minutes by car (or 20 minutes by train) from the very central part of Stockholm. There are also many public boats going east directly out to the famous Stockholm archipelago.

A delightful home in a quiet suburb of Stockholm. located on an island. Public transport into the city is excellent due to the nearby tram linking with the Metro. Stockholm is a beautiful city and we found plenty to keep us occupied, both in the city and on our travels beyond the city. The house has plenty of space for a family to spread themselves. There are 3 balconies, 2 offering views over the nearby shipping channel (watch the ferries come in first thing whilst enjoying breakfast), as well as a patio and garden. We warmly recommend Ingvar and Marie as excellent exchange partners.
We had a fantastic time in the huge and cozy house of Marie & Ingvar. The contact was very uncomplicated before and during the exchange. Car swap also worked perfectly. Marie and Ingvar also gave us lots of tips and excursion options and also helped with bookings. The location is perfect, you can quickly reach the city of Stockholm or the beautiful archipelago by public transport. Fortunately, we were able to get to know these dear exchange partners personally on the last day at the airport. We can highly recommend a swap with Marie & Ingvar to everyone. Thank you very much Marie & Ingvar for the great time in your house - who knows, maybe we'll see each other again one day :-).
