Flat in Corigliano Calabro, Italy
The apartment that we offer is our second house and it is found in place Corigliano Calabro, in the region Calabria, province of Cosenza. It's an apartment of about mq 170,it is well-lit and big. this apartment is on the third floor of a palace. it consists of two floor. at the first floor there is a large kitchen, a big sitting room, two bathrooms, a double room, a single room, two balconies. at the second floor there is a single room, a big room with a sofa bed, one bathroom and one walk-in cupboard. Corigliano is a little city rich of history, art and culture. it is situated in the heart of Piana di Sibari(it is famous for excavation, magna grecia). it is an important agricultural and trading centre. it produces especially oil and citrus fruits and clementine. the historic centre of the city rises on a little hill where there is the ducal castle, edified 1073. the historic centre with all his suggestive alley and his old houses stirs up very strong emotions e passions. Corigliano has got a wonderful seaside that is named Schiavonea. the seaside resorts offer all the modern comforts and entertainment's: sports grounds for the days, disco, open-air discotheque and beautiful sea for all family. only 5 km distant from the historic centre there is the mountain that has a got rich vegetation, where it is possible walking, to have a picnic. going on for other 30 km there is the Sila, a tourist place where to take wonderful walks during the summer and to improve skiing on the modern ski-runs during the winter. Than, about an hour away there are the thermal baths of Cerchiara di Calabria; by car you can reach in 2 hours San Nicola Arcella with the beautiful Arco Magno;by car or bus you can reach National Park Pollino.
Our family is composed by 3 adults: two pensioners(63) and one student(25). we are interested on exchange for whole year , for long and short periods. there are public transport but it is preferable the use of car.the sun, the sea, the mountains, history, culture and tradition waiting for you!

En väldigt trevlig byte, lägenheten var bra och precis som på beskrivningen. Vackert område med mycket natur och fin strand.
Patrizia est une hôtesse attentionnée et réactive. Elle a répondu très volontiers et rapidement à chacune de nos questions. Elle avait aussi prévu des brochures touristiques et nous avait laissé les coordonnées d'un ami au cas où nous ayons besoin d'un coup de main dans son appartement. L'appartement était grand et d'une propreté irréprochable. Nous avons apprécié la climatisation, en ces jours de très forte chaleur ! Son appartement est situé à 15-20 mn de plusieurs belles plages et stations balnéaires et près de la montagne, complémentaire du bord de mer. Plusieurs villages de montagne, proches, valent le détour ! Spécialement celui de Civica. La Calabre est tellement dépaysante ! Venant du nord de l'Europe, pour nous, c'était un autre monde, à tout point de vue. Le dépaysement est assuré, pas si loin de chez nous finalement. Les gens y sont très gentils et serviables. Nous nous sommes régalés dans les multiples restaurants des environs, à des prix bien moins élevés qu'en France. Je recommande chaudement d'échanger avec Patrizia !
Nous avons adoré séjourner chez Patrizia et Angelo en Calabre. Nous avons passé un mois de septembre sous le soleil et avons visité plusieurs villes italiennes. Tout s'est très bien déroulé et nous sommes vraiment ravis.
Patrizia and Angelo are nice people and easy to communicate. As they haven't yet done their part of the exchange, I hope that they will be satisfied as we are. The apartment was actually bigger than we expected, nice and comfortable. The surroundings was not that nice in terms of cleanness and look, but that is not their fault.
