Spacious flat in the city centre of Wiener Neustadt
The flat is located in the very centre of Wiener Neustadt, Austria. Wiener Neustadt is a provincial town close to Vienna with a perfect (suburban) train connection to the capital (3 - 5 trains per hour until midnight!) or half an hour on the motorway. Moreover, the Schneeberg (over 2000m) and various other mountains are within an hours drive. The town is in a wine growing area and offers quite a lot of things to do and see itself.

Wiener Neustadt is a provincial town about 50 km south of Vienna. It is home to the Austrian Military Academy (a large fortress-like building close to the town centre with an ajacant park of several square kilometres) and an aviatic museum (which shows the beginnings of aircraft in Austria). There is a huge events hall (Arena Nova) and an indoor as well as an outdoor pool for swimming. The noble spa of Baden is only 25 km away, and you can go up the Semmering by train and use a hiking path back to the valley along the World Heritage Site "Semmeringbahn".
For wine connoisseurs, the region offers a fantastic range of whites and reds from popular wine growing areas like "Neusiedlersee" or "Thermenregion" that you can taste at local taverns called "Heurigen".

Paola is a great communicator and has given us lots of useful advice of what to do during our stay. With her help and information it was very easy to set up a very nice holiday programme for a 10-day visit to Rome. The flat itself is ideally located: the train station connecting this part of Rome to the airport is just a few minutes away, the sea can be reached by train and metromare directly and at a very low fare, and the city walls of ancient Rome are within easy walking distance. The comfortable flat is for 2 people and offers all amenities like internet access, TV, gas cooker, shower and balcony. All in all we spent a fabulous holiday in Rome and are looking forward to welcoming Paola and her partner as well as their kids in Austria, as the exchange was set up as a non-simultaneous one.
Heinz stayed in my flat for ten days and left it clean and tidy. He is very nice and we had a very good communication. Unfortunately, due to personal reasons, we couldn't go to his flat in Austria this summer but he kindly offered us to stay in his flat in the future if we have the possibility.
Maria et Heinz sont très bienveillant et à l'écoute de nos attentes. L'appartement, idéalement situé dans le centre de Wiener Neustadt, est spacieux, lumineux, avec toutes les commodités d'usage. Durant ces 15 jours, nous avons visité Vienne en calèche, profiter d'un opéra du Wiener Kaise Orchester, baignade à l'étang aménagé de Neufelder See et à la piscine Aqua Nova de Wiener Neustadt, profiter de la proximité de la République Tchèque et de la Slovaquie pour faire les visites guidées de Prague et de Bratislava, randonner pour voir les cascades de Myrafälle, planer à la Foire Foraine du Prater à Vienne
