We live in a gated community in Ormond Beach. There is a community pool and workout area. There are sidewalks throughout our neighborhood, great for walking. The Atlantic Ocean is approximately a 10 minute drive east of our house.

We are looking to exchange in May of 2026. Florida’s weather is still lovely. Sun and fun.
My wife and I are both retired. We have done two home exchanges to the UK back in the late 90’s using Intervac in the good old days. One was to Montacute in Somerset and one to Durham in the Northeast.
We would be traveling with my brother and sister-in-law. My sister-in-law, an RN, has family in the London area. Our house is located on the northeast Florida coast. My wife and I enjoy coffee in the screened in porch in the morning before we take a walk with our dogs. We live in a gated community that has a community pool and workout room. There are sidewalks throughout our neighborhood which makes strolling to another lake in the community easy. Florida's weather in May is lovely. Plenty of sunshine, but not too much heat. Our location is closely located to many of the tourist areas in Florida. Saint Augustine to the north is approximately 45 minutes away. The Kennedy Space Center is about an hour south. The Orlando attractions are about an hour and 15 minute drive. Of course, we have the Atlantic Ocean minutes away and various state parks close by. Come and see them and enjoy them for yourselves.
