Nice flat with beautiful garden by the canal
Our home is about 4 km south of the medieval centre of Muenster. The city of Muenster is situated in the beautiful Muensterland with its park-landscape, its moated castles and horse breeding. In 2004 the city won the livcom-award as the most liveable community of the world. Furthermore Munster is known as the capital of bicyclists. So the most cultural events you can reach by bike.
We live in the ground floor of a two family house. In our flat is space for 2-4 persons. The second sleeping-room is very small, when the sofa-bed is build up, and therefore only suitable for sleeping. There is more space in a caravan in the garden, what could be very nice in summer time to stay in.
We´ve got a very nice and good-trained dog, but when we cannot take her with us, we leave her with friends.
Because Munster is a university-city with over 50.000 students, it is a very young and vivid city, and you will not have any problems to find english-speaking people.
You have easy access to the cities of the Ruhr-area, which was the European Capital of Culture of the year 2010 within ca. 1 hour by train or car.
We'd prefer not to drive long distances by car anymore. That's why we're looking for swap partners within about 250 km, or who are open to swapping cars.

Een vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam echtpaar. Ze hadden veel dingen voor ons goed voorbereid en we mochten gebruik maken van b.v. de fietsen en onze electrische auto opladen. We voelden ons door hun houding zeer welkom en in vertrouwde handen. We merken steeds meer dat we als ruilpartners door de jaren heen (we zijn vanaf 1990 onderdeel van de Intervac familie en hebben inmiddels veel Intervac vrienden gemaakt) in een sfeer van vertrouwen, zorg voor de ander en zorgvuldig omgaan met onze spullen ons eigen huis beschikbaar stellen en ditzelfde ook bij de anderen merken. Wat een prachtig concept is Intervac in een wereld waar vaak zoveel polarisatie, boosheid, wantrouwen en agressie heersen . Elke vakantie merken we dat er zoveel goedheid en vertrouwen in elkaar is. Dat geeft ons moed en hoop voor deze wereld.

Uncomplicated and open to new ideas
We are a couple in our sixties. Andreas is a public employee with a very colourful vita, and Monika is a consultant for pregnant women. We both are very interested in meeting other people from other countries and cultures and discovering, who they are. We are very experienced home swappers (35 +) and believe it to be the very best way of spending our holidays.
