Hi, We only need a place in Paris for a week, 18th - 25th of September, but we are going on a river cruise from Avignon to Lyon so you may stay here 2.5 weeks or if you wish to be here while we are here for a few days, 3 weeks. |

A lovely home with nice neighbors, a view of SF Bay, the Golden Gate Bridge and hiking trails 5 mins from the house!
We live in the Oakland Hills in a residential neighborhood away from the city with a view of the city. Our views are stunning both from inside and outside the house. The deck is wonderful and we spend lots of time outside enjoying the views of the Bay and the South Bay. On clear days, you can see all the way to Stanford! My hubby is in construction and it shows. He has remodelled the entire house over the 30 years we have lived here. We love where we live. We watch the weather, listen to owls on our night time walks and love connecting with neighbors and their doggies.

David is calm and a home body who loves sports, English, non fiction and his kids. (And he has grown to love dogs since we've had them since we've been together (40 years).
I am active, passionate and care about the world. My heart is broken because of our recent election. I took off three months to try and make sure Trump was not elected again. We failed and I am incredulous and distraught.
We have lots of friends, and stay quite busy. Dogs have been an impt part of our lives, but we are in between dogs right now. Both our kids have dogs so we are able to get our dog fixes. I think we are about to get another one to help me heal from the election. (If we do get a dog between now and our trip, we will find him/her a temporary home so you don't have to take care of him/her).
When we have done house exchanges in the past we have connected the kids' friends families to our exchange family and it always worked out really well. We love meeting locals so hopefully we will do this again.
We love nature and there is a ton to do and see around here. There is so much to see and do within an hour of where we leave. Monterey is two hours, Yosemite four. We have always exchanged cars during our exchanges, so that is an option if you are interested.
