Our home is located in a quiet, green residential area on the edge of the village of Schoorl. The neighborhood is characterized by wide streets, lots of trees and a relaxed village atmosphere. It is a safe and pleasant area where families, couples and nature lovers quickly feel at home.

Within walking and cycling distance you will find the "Schoorlse Duinen", one of the most diverse dune and forest areas in the Netherlands. From the neighbourhood you can easily head straight into nature, with many well-marked routes for walking, cycling and outdoor activities. The famous "Klimduin" and the village centre of Schoorl are also close by. The centre offers small shops, a supermarket, cafés and restaurants, without the crowds of larger seaside towns.

The beach at Schoorl aan Zee can be reached easily by bike (10 minute cycle) and is noticeably quieter than nearby beaches such as Bergen or Egmond. This makes the location especially appealing for guests who value space, nature and a calm environment, while still being close to the sea.

The location is also ideal for exploring North Holland. Bergen and Alkmaar are a short drive away and offer culture, museums and a wider range of dining options. At the same time, the immediate surroundings of our home are all about peace, privacy and outdoor living. This makes the area an excellent base for both active holidays in nature and relaxed days enjoying the calm and comfort of the home.
