The house has two bedrooms, one en suite, a kitchen/dining room, a snug/tv room, a main bathroom and a spacious south facing sun room. There is a large, secure back garden and off street parking at the front of the house. It is located in a quiet and very friendly neighbourhood just ten minutes walk to Fermoy town centre. The River Blackwater and the nearby Galtee mountains offer plenty of opportunities for walking, fishing and hiking. Canoeing is very popular on the river. Cork City is only a twenty minute drive away.

Kate and Joe are wonderful home exchange partners. They are kind and generous, full of life and love. Kate and Joe made us feel completely at home in their beautiful home and took excellent care of ours. Their home is actually much lighter, brighter, and more spacious than it appears in the photos we saw before visiting. Also, Kate is an incredibly talented artist and everywhere one looks in their home one's eye lands on an object of beauty. We are already planning to exchange homes with Kate and Joe again, and they will be welcomed back with joy.

Kate and Joe are wonderful home exchange partners who have become dear friends and in fact chosen family. This was our second exchange with them and it was as fabulous as our first. They cared for my home as if it were their own and welcomed me to feel entirely at home in theirs.
