Lovely House in the contryside, close to Copenhagen!
Looking for a swap for the summer 2026 in th the north of Spain.
If you want 2 holidays in one this is the right place for you. City or countryside: You don't have to choose!
Family House in the contryside close to Copenhagen and Roskilde. 4 rooms plus living room, big kitchen etc. Plenty of space for a family. Small, cozy garden with a covered patio. If you want to live in the contryside and still be close to the City this is the Place for you. The train is 400 meters away and takes you directly to Roskilde and Copenhagen. If you even fancy a trip to Sweden it is pretty close, too. The island Fyn is nearby too where you can visit Hans Christian Andersens hometown Odense or the beautiful city Svendborg in the heart of the southern archipelago.
Copenhagen is only about 30 minutes by train or car from our house where you can explore the city life! Copenhagen is wonderful for cycling or walking. Our house is renovated a few years ago and we have a little garden as well where you can enyou your meal in the summertime. And Roskilde, with lots of shopping and cafes and attractions is just 10 minutes away.

Sobre a vizinhança
Lejre is a small village with 2.400 inhabitants in quiet residential neighbourhoods with green surroundings. In the village there are two supermarkets, a bakery, a sandwch bar and a train station, al within a few hundred metres from our home. In the 9th century Lejre was the seat of the earliest Viking kings of Denmark, and today Lejre is becoming the first organic municipiality in Denmark.
A short distance away is Skjoldungelandet natural park which encompasses forests, lakes, ancient cultural landscape and the beautiful Roskilde Fjord. Also nearby is Ledreborg Palace Golf and The Land of Legends, an experimental iron- and viking age settlement historically correctly recreated by University of Copenhagen.
Just 10 minutes away by train or car is Roskilde, a large city with all kinds of shopping, restaurants, museums and a beautiful marina. Do not miss the internationally famed Viking Ship museum with well preserved 11th century viking ships or the UNESCO-listed gothic cathedral. And only 30 minutes away by train or car is Copenhagen, one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Scandinavia. A short trip further will even take you to Malmö, southern Swedens "capital". It is very easy getting around in Copenhagen by Metro, public bicycles or by foot so we suggest you go there by train and forget about parking trouble.
Copenhagen airport Kastrup is also easily accessible by train, 60 minutes and a short walk to/from the house

We are an outdoor family who loves skiing, sailing, running and exploring the City life. Recently we have been to Edinburgh, Barcelona, Lago di Garda and London. We live in the contryside on the edge of Skjoldungelandet national park with forests and lakes and Roskilde fjord where we spent most of our weekends during the summer sailing.
