Jamaica Plain (JP) is on the western edge of Boston abutting the community of Brookline. It is a vibrant community with shops, restaurants, green space and cafes. Two blocks from our home is Jamaica Pond, which is a nice place for a run or stroll. Arnold Arboretum and Forest Hills Cemetery are two other outdoor spaces worth exploring. The 39 bus runs outside our door. In about 20 minutes you can be at the Museum of Fine Arts Or take a 12 minute walk to the MBTA Orange Line which will bring you close to Quincy Market, the North End, and the Boston Common and Public Garden.

Very nice couple. Their home was accurately represented on the intervac listing page - in fact it was bigger than I expected from the photos.
A comfortable home in a good area of Boston. Plenty of eating/ drinking/leisure options locally and excellent public transport to/from city centre. Our exchangees did not mention that they have no TV - we felt it would have been useful to know this in advance. The exchange apartment was perfectly clean on arrival, but it contained NO cleaning materials of any description - no cloths, no cleaning products, not even a toilet brush. We assume they must have a cleaning service, but not while we were there, so we had to buy some basic cleaning items for our 3 week stay.
Nous sommes ravis de cet échange. Nous avons beaucoup communiqué avec Sue avant et pendant l'échange. Son appartement est magnifique tel que décrit dans l'annonce. Nous avons retrouvé notre maison impeccable. Il n'a manqué que de se voir.
