Whether it is in the orchard, in the authentic tobacco leaves drying place, in front of the fireplace in the barn or in the entirely renovated living area, there is enough space.
The village, with its 3800 inhabitants, offers almost everything one needs, be it organic farmers, supermarkets, a museum of local history, playgrounds, skateboard tracks, horse riding lessons, craftspeople, swimming lakes or distillers... children as well as adults will enjoy it.
You can go to the wilderness path just nearby or visit the cities Gengenbach, Durbach and Strasbourg if you would like to go to France. Not to mention the ideal location between the Black Forest and the Vosges, as well as the Europa-Park!

Zu jeder Jahreszeit gibt es genügend Platz ob im ruhigen Obstgarten, im authentischen Tabakschopf, in der Scheune vor dem Kamin oder im komplett sanierten Wohnhaus.
Das 3800 Seelen bestückte Dorf bietet fast alles vom Biobauer bis zum Supermarkt, ein Heimatmuseum, Spielplätze, Skateboard-Bahnen, Reitkurse, Kunsthandwerker, Badeseen, Schnapsbrenner... alles für Klein und Groß.
Im Ried gleich nebenan gibt es einen Wildnispfad, etwas weiter die Städte Gengenbach, Durbach und Straßburg für diejenigen, die auch gerne nach Frankreich möchten. Nicht zu schweigen von der idealen Lage zwischen Schwarzwald und Vogesen und dem Europa-Park!

Great experience with a great family. We loved our stay there, lovely house and location, all the necessary information was provided, the family was very friendly and the whole experience was way beyond our expectations! We wish you all the best!
We had a very pleasant stay in this very unusual home. The house was spacious with all the expected amenities. The weather was very hot and humid but luckily there was a fan available. Unfortunately some parts of the kitchen were not clean - moldy bread in the bread bin, very old fruit in the fridge, barbeque and oven were not cleaned since previous use. Little things, maybe, but we had prepared our home fully so it was a bit disappointing.Exchange family was excellent. Great communication and our home was very much cared for by them.
Après 14 ans d'échanges avec Intervac depuis 1995!, nous avons eu une longue interruption et avons refait un échange cette année en 2023 avec joie. En effet, cet échange nous a entièrement satisfaits, tant au point de vue relationnel, échanges chaleureux, que au point de vue pratique. La maison spacieuse et le joli jardin tranquille et bien vert nous ont séduit et correspondait tout à fait à nos attentes. De même aucun problème à signaler à notre retour. Retour très positif et nous recommandons Florence et Ulrich sans hésiter ainsi que leur deux filles.
