House in Ljusdal, Sweden
We offer our home, a vicarage with a lot of space (250 sq metres) for a big family, for exchange. It is situated by the river Ljusnan, and a 5-minute walk away there is a small beach (across a walking bridge over the river). Several other nice beaches and lakes within a short distance. A big and beautiful garden with a trampoline. The church of the small town of Ljusdal is nearby, as well as the park-like cemetary.
15 km to Järvzoo, a zoo with Nordic animals and the longest wooden pavement in the world. In the summer many music festivals in the area. Beautiful hiking trails and great possibilities for fishing.
Examples of things to do and see:
Järvzoo, see wolves and bears and other Nordic animals. 15 mn away
* Mountainbiking; a fantastic downhill trail, 15 mn away
* Go the Stene homestead, discover the regional specialities there. Lots of activities for kids as well 15 mn
* Kolsvedjaberget viewpoint, 10 mn
* Go trekking on wonderful trails in the forests nearby
* In the summer; many music arrangements, this is a very folkloristic region!
* Great opportunities for canoeing, horseriding and cycling
* Go to the pretty town of Hudiksvall, 50 mn away, and go swimming in the Bothnian sea (huge beach!)
* Visit Sundsvall, and IKEA, 2,5 hrs away

We like skiing in the winter and bathing in the lake in the summer. Going to the town of Hudiksvall 60 km away is also nice.
