We live in the heart of Stockholm, in the charming and vibrant neighbourhood of Södermalm, within walking distance of shops, cafés, restaurants, museums and excellent public transport, including the metro, buses, commuter trains and ferries.

Södermalm is one of Stockholm's most popular neighbourhoods, loved for its relaxed atmosphere, picturesque squares, independent boutiques, green parks and beautiful 19th-century architecture. It offers a wonderful mix of lively cafés and restaurants while still feeling calm and welcoming.

From our apartment you can stroll to the Old Town (Gamla Stan) in just a few minutes. From there, take the scenic Djurgården ferry across to Djurgården, one of Stockholm's most beautiful islands. Here you'll find some of the city's best-loved attractions, including the open-air museum Skansen, the Gröna Lund amusement park, the Vasa Museum and ABBA The Museum. Djurgården is also perfect for walking, cycling and enjoying the beautiful waterfront.

Stockholm is often called the "Venice of the North" and is built across a collection of islands surrounded by water. It offers a unique combination of vibrant city life, nature and easy access to swimming. If you'd like to take a swim, Tantobadet—one of several bathing spots right in the city—is just a pleasant walk away.

Or go for the Millennium tour in Södermalm, where most of the intrigue in the famous Millennium series by Stieg Larsson takes place.
