Holiday home in the tuscan hills
WELCOME TO TUSCANY!
Our house is a detached one situated in a quiet village which is part of the old Etruscan lands.
The house is divided into two parts: the north part is the place where we live and the south part is the one we change or rent. It is furnished as a typical Tuscan house, with Terracotta floor and old wood furniture. It is equipped with all the comforts including a well stocked kitchen, washing machine, drying racks, iron and ironing board, dishwasher and mosquito nets in the living area.
From the living room you enter a private garden with a wonderful view on Tuscan hills where you can even see pheasants and roe-deers. In the garden there is a swimming pool to refresh oneself or to play with children, deckchairs to sunbath and a gazebo to enjoy meals. All the aromatic herbs you find in the garden are at your disposal to cook really tasty meals!
There are two bedrooms: in the Pink Bedroom there is a double bed, the Blue Bedroom has got two separated beds. Both the bedrooms are sunny and have view on the garden and the panorama form it. There is a double sofabed in the living room, so the house can accommodate 6 people. We have also a baby coat avaible.
The bathroom is equipped with shower and bidet: at the arrival you will find all the towels you need.
You can relax in the garden, cycling around on the green hills or just stop in one of the famous restaurants nearby to try some Tuscan specialities enjoying the unique wine and panorama.
As our daughters are grown up, they often have swaps by themselves or we just travel in couple, so the number of people enjoying the swap can be different (maximum 5 if we travel all the family together).
We like to travel and we enjoyed very much every Intervac exchange: we hope you will enjoy with us!

Sobre a vizinhança
You can choose among green hills or medieval towns ever being sure of spending marvellous holidays.
Our nearest airports are Firenze and Pisa where also Ryanair flyes. Roma airports are about 2 hours and a half by car but there are also trains and buses to Siena.
Murlo is a small town in the antique Etruria, land of Etruscans with a lovely Etruscan museum. In 15 minutes by car you can reach Siena, art town famous also for its Palio, a medieval horse race that take place on July the 2nd and August the 16th.
In the neighbourhood, 20 km, there is Montalcino famous for its "Brunello" wine, San Galgano, Pienza, Monteriggioni and San Gimignano.
If you like to relax on the beach or to visit national parks, you can reach the Maremma, in the Tuscan seaside: beaches are wonderful, both rocky and sandy, and fun is assured! You can also visit Isola d'Elba or the other beautiful islands of our Tuscan Arcipelago.
To add well-being, the natural hot springs at "Terme di Petriolo", famous since roman times or "Bagno Vignoni" are just a few kilometers from us.
In June there is a very interesting "festa medievale" in Murlo castle, with its historical revival of customs, shows, music, old crafts market and last but not least...gastronomic stands! Enjoy Tuscany!

Hello! We are a family of 5 people: Lucia, Rino and our 3 daughters: Veronica, Viola and Benedetta.
We usually travel only in 2 people: Lucia and Rino or our daughter Veronica with her friend ( 32 years old).
We love travelling and discovering new places: we like visiting cities and trekking in the nature. We can do simultaneous swaps but usually search for non simultaneous ones during the summer as the house we exchange is a holiday one.
We enjoyed Intervac swaps lots of time and we ever had wonderful experiences: we hope you will enjoy the exchange with us!
