Our apartment has two floors with a large living room, study, kitchen and a sunny terrace on the first floor and three bedrooms and a bathroom on the second floor.
The house is built in 1917 in a beautiful style with coloured glass windows and high ceilings. It has a warm atmosphere in which our guests feel very welcome and at home. The view from our apartment on the canal is beautiful. Lots of boats are passing by. The house is situated in the historical city centre with lots of restaurants, shops, cafes, museums and markets within walking distance. In the other direction is 'De Hout' a beautiful city park.
From our home you can go to the dunes and the beach, easily by car but especially by bicycle. National Parc Kennemer Duinen is beautiful. Amsterdam with all its attractions and other historical Dutch cities like Volendam, Marken, Alkmaar, Delft are easy to reach by car or train within half an hour.
We have enjoyed already approx. More than 35 lovely vacations all over the world with Intervac and hope to welcome you in our home.

Our apartment in a 100 year old house is situated in the historical center, with museums (Frans Hals Museum, Teijlers Museum) lots of shops and restaurants and markets within walking distance. It takes fifteen minutes to go to the National Parc Kennemerland. Through this parc (beautiful dunes) it's easy to reach the beaches and the sea (5km from our house). Amsterdam is 17 minutes by train. All the major cities are within one hour from Haarlem. Most of our guests also enjoy cycling in and around Haarlem.

We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful apartment of Coralie and Markus. The house is light and spacious and has a very nice atmosphere. After enjoying the many facilities of the city (so many museums and interesting places tot visit) it is a very comfortable place to relax. Shops and restaurants are around the corner. The communication was very pleasant. We found our cat very happy and relaxed when we arrived home, because it was very well taken care off! We certainly would like to exchange again.
Superbe accueil, de nombreux échanges écrits pendant l'échange permettant de bien profiter de la région, des jeux empruntés à la Médiathèque pour les enfants. Un appartement très agréable, joli et bien placé. On y retournerait !

We are a family of four: Inge (56), Stephan (58) and our children Sietse (25) and Elsa (22). Since we have joined Intervac more than 20 years ago we have made more than 35 wonderful exchanges.
We usually travel without our children. Sometimes they join us for part of a holiday.
We do agree with exchange partners to take care of our friendly cat Panda.
We are open for all exchanges during but also outside schoolholidays, including short citybreaks.
