Beautiful home on the water in golf resort community
Welcome to our charming 3 bedroom 3 bath home with pool and spa located in upscale golf community. The downstairs has two living areas, a billiard room, kitchen/dining, huge master bedroom and en suite master bathroom with two sinks, a 2-person shower, and garden bathtub. You will also find another full bathroom and laundry room on the main floor. Upstairs are two more bedrooms, one with en suite full bathroom, separated by a loft area with a sectional sofa and television.
The house has a beautifully landscaped lot on the resaca (small river) that attracts many unique birds and butterflies. The yard is cared for every week, so there is no work for you. You will have access to a golf cart and two bicycles to explore the gorgeous neighborhood, full of quiet streets and friendly people. We also have two lovebirds who will only need minimal care, and who will sing to you! If you are not a pet lover, arrangements are flexible for their care.
Three airports are nearby, in Brownsville (15 miles) Harlingen (20 miles) and McAllen (40 miles). We live in a unique, tropical area of Texas called the Rio Grande Valley. From our house, an easy drive takes you to world class beaches or to Mexico to go shopping for a day across the border. Both English and Spanish are spoken everywhere and people are extremely friendly and helpful. It is also a very affordable region, with prices for almost everything the lowest in the U.S. We are both teachers who love meeting new people and exploring the world for adventure, and we look forward to many exciting exchanges!

Leur accueil était très chaleureux , leur maison exactement comme dans leur description et nous avons passé un séjour très agréable chez eux et dans le sud Texas.
