Directly in front of our house door, there is some garden furniture for anybody in the house to use.

The laundry room is in the same house, free to use. Two washing machines, a tumble-dryer and a drying cupboard.

There is a small lake only a few hundred meters away, with paths for walking or jogging, and large grass areas for sunbathing.

15-20 minutes walk (1,5 km) from our home is a wonderful little bathing place where I take my morning swim in the summer.

The apartment is 41 m2 and consists of one room, a kitchen, a hall and a bathroom, see photos. It is situated on the first floor of a wooden house from 1918, a beautiful classified heritage building. This is indeed compact living, so if you are comfortable with that, the place is OK for two persons, otherwise it is perfect for one. There is no regular bed, only a Futon-like 140 cm bed sofa.

You have to bring your own computer, but there is a printer/scanner at your disposal. Of course you can also use our TV, DVD player, Internet, and films. The TV has five channels and the Internet is wi-fi 100/10.

Laundry facilities (washer and dryer) are available in same building.

Most of the adjacent houses are one family houses. Nice and quiet surroundings (only one big road close by), with lovely walking paths and both a smaller lake and lake Mälaren less than five minutes walk away from the house. On the other side of the smaller lake there is a golf course, Bromma golfbana. 

In the other direction, less than ten minutes walk takes you to the Stockholm metro, and the trip to downtown Stockholm with everything that our capital city can offer you takes 16 minutes. 

There is only one convenience store within walking distance from the house, but there is a huge supermarket a few bus stops away and many other supermarkets a few metro stations away.

There are many pros with our place, and the only con we can think of is that the room is quite dark because of the trees outside the windows - mostly the electric light has to be on even in the summer. In fact, it is lighter indoors in the winter, when the trees have lost their leaves. But on the other hand, we like to have trees with birds singing right outside the windows!

Smoking is not allowed in our home.
