Bungalow in Kilmurry, Ennis, Co. Clare, Ireland

For the moment we are hoping to go to London for around a week anytime after June 24th returning before July 3rd.

We live in the last bungalow at the end of a very quiet road in the small village of Kilmurry. It is a really lovely place, very conveniently located to many things, to many places. See http://www.clare.ie/ for lots of information on County Clare.

Our home is a very comfortable cosy one. We love the scenery from the house and put the view from the front as our main photo.
We would consider doing a car exchange if you are interested. We have two cars; our family car is a Ford Escort estate which takes five people and the dog. Our smaller car is a Nissan Pulsar.

Shannon Airport is the nearest Airport to our house, only 19km.
Cork airport is 126km.
Dublin Airport is 227km and might be the cheapest to fly into so if you use it we recommend http://www.dublincoach.ie/ a private bus company that provides an excellent service. The train is another option – see www.irishrail.ie - our nearest train station is in Sixmilebride 5kms from the house. There is a good bus service linking Dublin Airport with Hueston Train Station which is the station to get trains to the South of the country.
The national bus company, Bus Éireann, www.buseireann.ie provides a good service between the cities and towns.

Aeroporto mais próximo: Shannon Airport - 19kms

Public transport to Dublin, Cork and other cities/towns is excellent with 13 trains per day to Dublin and many busses to lots of different places.
Have a look at the national tourism website. We are in the Shannon Region and the South West Region is very near. The West and South West regions are not very far. Co. Clare is a good base for visiting other places and there are lots of things to do locally. The Cliff of Moher are spectacular, so is the surfer's paradise Lahinch and all the other towns and places in County Clare.
We are only 10 kms from Bunratty tourist village.
There are lots of walks locally e.g. The 12 O'Clock Hills http://www.clare.ie/do/12-oclock-hills-project/, The Mid Clare Way and The East Clare Way as well as Cratloe Woods.
The area is excellent for lake fishing; the boat outside our door n Google Maps unfortunately is not ours and is no longer there :-( but there are options to hire boats locally if fishing is your thing.
