What we offer you : Discover our beautiful region between sea and countryside in unspoiled nature. The Manche department and the "Cotentin" offer a wide range of landscapes and activities. From the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel to the "Cap de la Hague" you will keep wonderful memories ! We will advise you on everything you can do here, whether in nature, cultural or heritage activities, so that your stay is as pleasant as possible!

Family : We are a family of four with two children aged 16 and 7. We love nature and the great outdoors, practice sports and several artistic activities and love hiking by the sea or in the mountains. We like to stroll outside, take care of our garden and our vegetable patch. Within a preserved nature, we are lucky to live in the countryside while being very close to the sea. Friends and meetings are very important in our life.

Home : We have been living in our farmhouse since 2019. Old farmhouse completely renovated with outbuildings, it has a spacious living space with 3 bedrooms (on the 1st floor, 1 bedroom with double bed and 1 child's bedroom with single bed and on the second floor, 1 bedroom with double bed) and 1 bedroom/office on the ground floor (single bed), 1 large bathroom with wc on the 1st floor, 1 wc (dry toilet) on the ground floor, 1 living room with mezzanine and 1 dining room on the ground floor, 1 equipped kitchen (without microwave) and 1 scullery on the ground floor. We also have some childcare equipment available, including a travel cot. We don't have a TV, just a screen to watch movies, but what you need to listen to good music! Our house is not "High-tech" but there is everything you need to live well there! Fans of board games, you will find a wide choice at home as well as bicycles, games for children, a trampoline outside (during the summer) and a ping-pong table. We also have all the necessary equipment to try handfishing in a reasoned and sustainable way. We can tell you about this activity if you want to try.

Outside : you will have access to a large garden with trees and can enjoy our vegetable garden as well as a small wooden terrace under the trees with a hammock area. We have two cats "Tottote and Zizou" and a "Rapid" donkey to feed but who are independent and kind. We operate with water from our well and try our best to have a responsible and sustainable approach in our daily lives.

Around : Quiet and in the beautiful Normandy countryside, Our house is 800m from the village center of Hudimesnil where there is a bakery, convenience store, park with play area and pond. Organic market at the Bois Landelle farm every Friday evening with a very nice community bar 5 mins walk away. The nearest beach is 10 minutes by car (Coudeville beach and its lively markets every Wednesday evening). Opportunity to discover the practice of handfishing and nautical activities (sailing base, nautical center). The village of Bréhal is 5 min by car with all the shops and a health center if needed. Granville 10-15 minutes by car. It is a dynamic seaside town with entertainment, festivals, concerts, aquatic center (open since 2017), museum, cinema,...Granville is accessible from Paris by train (around 3h15). Possibility of taking sea shuttles from Granville to access the magnificent archipelago of Chausey and the islands of Jersey/Guernsey. Mont-Saint-Michel is 1 hour away by car. The entire northern Cotentin is to be discovered absolutely (La Hague, Carteret, Val de Saire, etc.) with very beautiful walks by the sea. The historic sites of the landing beaches are 1h30 away by road. Without forgetting all the inland with great places to discover.

What we are looking for : Although mountain enthusiasts, we are open to all destination proposals, as long as we enjoy discovering and meeting great people! We also like to go with friends with another family of course if this is possible for the family who will welcome us in their house.
