The kitchen used to be the dining room, so it is spacious and bright.

The south-facing balcony is lovely in summer. Northern lights are sometimes visible in winter.

A spacious and comfortable flat with two bedrooms in central Reykjavik.

A cozy two bedroom flat on the third (top) floor of a 1930s apartment block in Old Vesturbær a quiet residential area in central Reykjavik. Ten min. walk to the old city centre (the Parliament Square). A black cat (Klói) lives in the flat and needs to be fed and let out occasionally.

The space
The flat has two bedrooms, one large master bedroom and a children's room. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and other necessary appliances. The bathroom has a bathtub/shower and a washer/dryer. The living room has a grand piano and TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime.

Guest access
Guests have access to the flat, with 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room and bathroom. There is a balcony accessed from the corridor, which may be used as well. The flat is our home, so please respect the privacy of drawers and closets that are not designated for use by guests.

Other things to note
The building is a residential building and there are two flats on the lower floors. Please be mindful towards the other residents. If you need anything, contact the host and not the people in the building.
Our cat, Klói, (pronounced like Chloë), is a 12 years old outdoor cat. He has to be let out on the ground floor, but we keep him in at night and he seems happy with that. A brownish grey cat, Freyja, lives in the house, in the flat just below ours. She is very keen on visiting, but mainly just to eat Klói's food, so we normally don't let her in. :)
We keep a litter box for Klói in the bathroom, but he never uses it. It's there just in case.

Sobre a vizinhança

The flat is located in the old part of Vesturbær (West Town), a residential area just to the west of the Reykjavík city centre. A small quirky grocery store (Kjötborg) is just around the corner, so is a lovely bakery. Vesturbæjarlaug, the local swimming pool is within easy walking distance and so is the city centre with all its restaurants and amenities. Despite being very close to the centre, the flat is located in a very quiet place. It is just across the street from the old cemetery, which is now a protected heritage site and a tranquil and lush haven in the neighbourhood.

Son persones especials, molt atentes i pendents de qualsevol dubte, preparats per ajudar. La casa es molt cèntrica i perceta per conéixer i passejar la ciutat. Molt gentils també amb el cotxe, anant a recollir-nos i posant tot a la nostra disposició.
