Great house & garden near Stockholm in a beautiful and safe area

Located only 25 min away from buzzing central Stockholm by commuter train/car, in the municipality of Täby, and only 25 mins from the main airport (Arlanda) is this comfortable 200 m2 family house with a large patio and garden equipped with an outdoor jacuzzi, trampoline & childrens' playhouse. It is located in a very quiet neighbourhood with a countryside feel to it, but still only a five minute walk from train, buses, food shop, pharmacy, baker & local restaurant. Walking trails, jogging tracks and a golf course are a 10 min walk away. From the house, you have easy access to major motorways taking you north or south.

The house itself is a comfortable family home with five bedrooms with seating areas in- & outside, two TVs with international channels (Netflix, Viasat, HBO & Disney+), children's toys & PlayStation, unlimited WiFi network, bikes and also, if mutually agreed, a 7-seater automatic SUV.

Five km from the house are clean lakes & the ocean for swimming purposes and at a similar distance is Täby Centrum, one of Sweden's nicest and biggest shopping malls, littered with shops, restaurants and facilities. Boats out into the spectacular Stockholm archipelago with its many islands leave from the lovely seaside town of Vaxholm, only 25 kms away.

We have made four exchanges to date; Barcelona, Spain (2019), Monistrol-sur-Loire, France (2022), Malága, Spain (2023) and Alicante, Spain (2023).

Täby Kyrkby ("Täby church village") is a quiet, green and safe place in the Stockholm area. A typical rail station village of sorts with mostly private houses. The commuter train station is a five minute walk from the house and the train takes you to central Stockholm in 20 mins. Near the train station is a food shop, pharmacy, baker, local restaurant, pizzeria, gym, bicycle shop etc. Buses can be found only 100 m from the house.

Walking trails, jogging tracks and a golf course is found only a 10 min walk from the house.

Five km away are swimming lakes and local sandy beaches. Nearby are also some of Sweden's biggest shopping malls; Täby Centrum and Mall of Scandinavia. 25 km away is the lovely seaside town of Vaxholm, from where one can take boats leaving several times per day out into the spectacular Stockholm archipelago with its many islands.
