Isabel and Graham say "Welcome" Bienvenidos to Albuquerque, New Mexico Southwest USA

Our home sits at 6,200 feet in the foothills of Albuquerque, New Mexico, a city of 560,000.

Our home is around 2,400 square feet. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and one office. It is full of light with high ceilings. Our kitchen and baths have been recently remodeled. New carpet is in the bedrooms. We especially love our brick and wood flooring. It is close to all shopping. Walks in the neighborhood are wonderful. A right turn takes one to the trailheads of the Sandia Mountain, and it's an up - all the way, 1.5 miles to the top of the 10,051 foot peak.

Estilo de vida

Graham and Isabel found each other three years after their spouses died two weeks apart. For us, it was a true miracle. Isabel and her husband had done six very wonderful and successful exchanges and she was so happy that Graham wanted to do the same. We are outdoor people - members of the very active and educated senior citizen hiking, down hill skiing, cross country and snowshoeing organization. Graham is a retired mechanical engineer, with teaching experience in the math and physics area; Isabel is a retired teacher of first, fifth and gifted classes. She is a first generation Italian American, whose family was born north of Milan. She is a self-taught writer with one book, NONNO'S MONKEY, AN ITALIAN AMERICAN MEMOIR, published. Another, a first fiction, set in 1968 Taos, New Mexico, when hippies by the hundreds arrived, is "in the works." She has published many articles and some of them can be found by typing: isabelbearmanbucher.com. We are looking forward to the continuing adventure of life - walking on up the trail. We have grown children, grandchildren and great grand children. Albuquerque is a five hour drive from the Grand Canyon.
