House near centre of Amsterdam, Netherlands

"Our" square, a village-like place in the heart of old Amsterdam, is near the medieval centre of town. Our house was built around 1900, and allthough it has the comfort of the modern times you can still see the remains of the old days, like the marble mantelpiece, the service pipes for gas on the ceilings, where in the old days the lamps were hanging, etc.
At the ground floor our house has a large kitchen which serves as living as well, and gives the entrance to the garden. In the garden our chickens have their home. Also at the ground floor you will find two studies, a toilet and the entrance to the basement. And the stairs to the first floor.
At the first floor you will find two larger bedrooms both with a balcony, and one small bedroom, a second toilet and a bathroom.

In the years 2020 - 2022, the walls and windows of this house were completely insulated. A heat pump was also installed so that the temperature throughout the house is stable.
